Photography
As students view the world through the lens of a camera, they develop new powers of observation, increasing awareness of the world around them. Learning and applying the elements of design and discovering patterns in the environment can promote higher order thinking and strengthen academic skills. High School digital photography students assist with photography for special events at the school, and develop their own portfolio within a specific area of interest for display online and at the spring Fine Arts Festival.
