Hill Parent Association - Grapevine Campus

The purpose of the Grapevine Hill Parent Association (HPA) is:

  • To support the students, teachers and parents;
  • To supplement the needs of the school; and,
  • To provide educational information to parents and the community regarding learning differences.

The HPA Board meets monthly. All parents are invited to attend these meetings. When the schedule permits, the HPA planning meetings are held the first Thursday of the month at 8:30a.m., in Suite 200, with the exception for the months of September and February when an evening HPA meeting is held in the multipurpose room. All parents are notified of meeting dates, times, and agendas prior to the scheduled meetings. Meeting minutes are published on Parents RenWeb the month following the meeting.

Room Parents

Volunteer opportunities are available for Room Parents. Room Parents assist the classroom teachers and work with the other parents in the class to plan and execute classroom parties and activities.

HPA Activities

The HPA sponsors a number of activities each year that benefit the Grapevine campus, including the Back to School party, Used Uniform Sale, Fall Festival, Fall and Spring Book Fairs, Thanksgiving Feast, Grapevine Parade of Lights, Barnes and Noble Book Fair, Hill School night at local restaurants, teacher treats for staff meetings, holiday classroom parties, class field trips, and teacher appreciation activities during Teacher Appreciation Week. We also participate in the major fundraiser that supports both campuses, the Spring Auction. Volunteer opportunities are available for all of these activities. Hill School of Grapevine families are expected to volunteer a minimum of 10 hours per school year. Please contact Amy Rust (aarust27@hotmail.com) for more information on volunteer opportunities.
