Hill School’s academic program is built on two critical instructional strategies for working with children with learning differences. Our students may have a lot of ground to make up and require remediation and intervention in areas of academic, organizational, or social weaknesses. Just as importantly, students need to understand how to circumvent some of their weak areas and use accommodations to reach their goals. Across our classrooms from grades 1 through 12, we build academic programming that both intervenes and accommodates for students’ learning profiles, accentuating areas of strength and interest along the way.
