Athletic participation at Hill Upper School is a privilege extended to students. Hill Upper School, TCAF and some University Interscholastic League rules will be followed in the Hill School Athletic Program. Each coach will acknowledge and inform team members and parents of the regulations as they apply to their individual sport. Additions, deletions, or corrections of existing regulations will apply after approval from the athletic director. Violation of any of these rules could result in the student losing the privilege of taking part in the Hill School Athletic Program.
When grades are checked every three weeks, if a student is failing any course, he/she is considered ineligible for a minimum of three weeks. The Head of School reserves the right to invoke academic ineligibility in special cases.
Hill School requires that an athlete must be present at least half a school day to be considered eligible for the game that day. The individual coaches under approval of the athletic director will handle unexcused absences from practices/competitions. Coaches in regard to athletics will support disciplinary actions taken by the Principals or Counselor.
