2017-2018 Tuition

(includes a $1,250 Registration Fee)

Our current tuition includes the following:

Registration Fee:  $1,250 due upon enrollment and is a non-refundable deposit to secure enrollment.

Technology Fee:  $200 for students in grades 1 – 6; $500 for students in grades 7 – 12

Supply Fee:  $60 per student, this fee covers all consumables used in each classroom.

Hill Parent Association: $40 per family, the HPA is a parent-led organization that benefits ALL students at Hill School.

Upper School SST-Elective Fee:  $40 for students in grades 9 – 12. This fee is for a t-shirt, shorts, and all daily laundering of these PE clothes for students enrolled in the SST class OR for supplies in other elective classes (Media, Fine Arts, etc.).

Senior Fee: $500 for students in grade 12.  This fee helps cover expenses incurred for aptitude testing and consultation, additional coverage in yearbook, prom/graduation CD’s, DVD’s, senior lock-in and/or retreat, and graduation (caps and gowns, diplomas, venue rental, reception).

The School provides options for tuition payments. The options are one annual payment, two biannual payments or eight monthly payments from June 2017 through January 2018.  Need-based financial aid is available for assistance with tuition only (excluding registration fee).  The maximum award amount is 40% of the tuition expense minus the non-refundable registration fee.  Recipients may receive less than the maximum amount.

The following additional fees may apply:
Tuition Insurance Premium and Finance Service Charges:  If you elect biannual or monthly payment plans (8 months) for tuition.

Optional program fees apply to transportation fees, athletics, and various after-school activities should your student participate. Please contact the Business Office at 817-923-9482 for more information.

Bus Routes

The Southwest Arlington Bus stop is located at I-20 and 5781 SW Green Oaks Blvd. at the far end of the Big Lots parking lot. The morning bus arrives in Arlington at 7:25 a.m. and leaves Arlington PROMPTLY at 7:35 a.m. The afternoon bus arrives in Arlington at 3:45 p.m. and leaves Arlington PROMPTLY at 3:55 p.m.

The NE Tarrant County (Grapevine, Colleyville, Southlake) Bus stop is located at 612 Grapevine Highway at the far end of the parking lot. The morning bus arrives at 7:05 a.m. and leaves PROMPTLY at 7:25 a.m. The afternoon bus arrives at 4:10 p.m. and departs PROMPTLY at 4:20 p.m.

Mills Uniform Company store information:

We are pleased that Mills Uniform Company is Hill School’s exclusive uniform supplier. Uniforms are available at Mills’ Fort Worth retail store and on a customized Hill School webstore at millswear.com. You can use the webstore anytime to shop online and review our approved uniform guidelines on the Uniform Program listing. Our school code is 3361.

Keeping Education Affordable!

Rising school operating costs are often passed onto the parents in the form of higher tuition. Smart Tuition helps to minimize these increases by relieving schools of internal costs that are involved with tuition collection. The Smart Tuition program helps support and secure the financial stability of your child’s school. This enables total focus on what counts the most, your child’s education. Smart Tuition manages the tuition payment program for your school and follows the policies established by your school. Tuition amounts, tuition aid, scholarships and other tuition related decisions are made by your school.

Payment Methods

Your school asks that you pay tuition by automatic deduction or monthly bill. Choose the payment method that best suits your family’s needs:

  • Automatic Deduction: Have your payment automatically deducted from your bank account or credit card. Automatic deduction is convenient and reliable. Monthly payments are made automatically, and you never need to worry about reminders, postage, lost checks, mail delays, etc. You have total security due to the strict rules that govern the automatic deduction system. Your confidentiality is protected at all times.
  • Monthly Bill: Receive monthly invoices. This option provides you the flexibility of mailing in your payment, making a phone-in payment, or paying online at www.smarttuition.com.

A Smart Start!

Once the admissions process is complete, your Smart Tuition account can be set up. You can access your personal account information at www.smarttuition.com/ where you will be able to make payments, view balances due, and find answers to commonly asked questions.

What does SMART do?
Smart Tuition receives your payments, processes them, and deposits the funds into your school’s bank account. Our secure website and 24/7 parent help center are available to families that have questions about their tuition payment plans.

Will you share my information with other companies?
NO. Your privacy is important to us. We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone except permitted by law. Smart Tuition has adopted numerous procedures to protect the confidentiality of school and family information. We adhere to the Payment Security Industries Standard for storing card holder data.

Why would I provide you with my bank account number or credit card information?
Many parents who are pressed for time prefer an error-proof system of automatic deductions vs. the traditional mail-in payments. Smart Tuition informs you of the amount that we will deduct from your account through an email notification 10 days prior to your due date. This is the fastest, safest, and most convenient payment option. * Note: Not all schools allow for credit card transactions on the account. Please ask your school if this option is available.
