Your dollars have a direct impact on our students and teachers today. The gift you make to the Annual Fund supports financial aid for families in need of tuition assistance. It also enhances our programming, supports curriculum, enrichment, student activities, technology integration, professional development for faculty, events, publications, clubs, summer school programming, speaker series.
Major gifts are the financial backbone of a successful advancement effort. Unrestricted gifts provide Hill School with the flexibility to address the school’s most pressing demands as they change over time, but donors also have the option of restricting their gifts to particular needs in which they have a special interest. Major Gifts are often coordinated with Hill School’s strategic plan and can offer naming opportunities to the donors. A recent major gift provided funds for wireless technology for our campus. Another provided funds for a major renovation to the school library, now named The Bob Bolen Memorial Media Center. Without such gifts, these two “upgrades” would not have been possible.
Planned giving allows you to support Hill School in the future while not affecting your finances today, and enables you to help sustain the promise of a Hill School education for many years to come. There are several ways that you can contribute, including through trusts and bequests. Audrey Boda-Davis, Hill School Executive Director, would be happy to discuss planned giving with you if you decide that this approach is one that you might like to pursue.

The Hill School Foundation is an endowment fund established to provide a lasting legacy for donors with the purpose of securing the future of tomorrow’s Hill School students.

Your gift to the Foundation is invested for long-term growth and carefully managed to preserve capital. The Foundation’s sole purpose is to provide long-term funding support and preserve Hill School’s special mission in the community. Contributions to our endowment are invested to generate earnings and once the principal reaches a milestone market value, a portion of the earnings will be used to support Hill School’s annual operating budget. Earnings in excess of the distribution amount will be retained in the endowment fund and reinvested, allowing the principal to grow.

Your financial support of The Hill School Foundation will help to ensure the long-term stability of Hill School for future students.

Preston Zavala attended Hill School of Fort Worth for seven years and he graduated with the Class of 2010. Preston was a vibrant young man, passionate about school, his friends, and athletics. The Hill School community still grieves his passing. Preston’s family generously named Hill School as a recipient for memorial gifts.

Donations to the Preston Zavala Memorial Fund support Hill School students who contribute to the campus community through their dedication to athletics, fine arts, or community service. Each year, the administrative team selects only one returning Hill School student as the recipient of this scholarship.
