Admissions Process

Applying for Hill School

  1. Step 01

    Connect with Hill School

Call the school (817.923.9482) or submit a contact form. Our Director of Admissions will then reach out to learn more about your student and provide you with information about all that Hill School has to offer.

  2. Step 02

    Submit Appropriate Testing

Hill School requires a complete neuro-educational evaluation or diagnostic testing from a qualified clinician, diagnostician, or organization. The testing must have been completed within the past three years.

Our Director of Admissions can provide recommended testing solutions, if needed.

  3. Step 03

    Campus Visit

Take a tour of campus with our Director of Admissions and visit with our school counselor to discover how Hill School’s unique programming supports your child.

  4. Step 04

    Submit Application Forms

After visiting with the Director of Admissions, families may be invited to apply for enrollment. This includes submitting the $100 application fee, online application, and other required materials such as:

    • Student’s neuro-educational evaluation or diagnostic testing
    • Report cards and official transcripts, as applicable
    • Teacher and administrator confidential recommendation forms
  5. Step 05

    In-Class Visit

Prospective students are required to attend two consecutive school days for observation. Once scheduled, your child will participate in a set of coursework at their grade level and be able to interact with teachers and peers.

  6. Step 06

    Family Interview with School Administrators

As a family, you’ll meet with members of our administration to ensure a strong, supportive partnership after enrollment.

  7. Step 07

    Determine a Plan of Action

Once the admissions committee has reviewed your application, you will be notified of the decision. Our Director of Admissions will then work with your family to determine the next steps.
